Back in October, we took a European roadtrip after finding last-minute tickets, starting in Venice, driving up through the Dolomites to Austria, Germany and Switzerland, before ending at the incredible Lake Como, Italy! Lake Como really blew us away. We had heard amazing things about these lake towns but experiencing it in the off season, minus the crowds, was incredible. The best part about Lake Como is that you can explore each of the little towns that dot the lake by hopping on and off of the lake ferry boat for about 5 euros. We stayed in the little town of Menaggio, and also especially loved Bellagio! We celebrated my 26th birthday with the best pizza and wine ever, overlooking a blue lake with a pastel sky. Tim and I were both coming off being sick but still enjoyed every single second of our short stay in Lake Como and will absolutely be back – hopefully in warmer summer months so we can enjoy all the floating pools!
My absolute favorite street in Bellagio, above!
This was the view from our hotel room at the lovely Grand Hotel Victoria in Menaggio.
This was our view over dinner!
