Where to even begin with Amanda + Patrick’s beautiful Italy wedding day?! The entire weekend was a dream from start to finish (if you haven’t checked out their rehearsal dinner white party yet, start there!). Orvieto is a beautiful town in Umbria with old medieval, crumbling walls and the location of La Badia Hotel was an incredible backdrop, from the medieval chapel with frescoed walls to the beautiful ruins where the candlelit dinner under the stars took place. Oleander Florals + Design outdid themselves with some of the most amazing decor + florals we’ve seen yet! The best part was how surreal the experience felt for all their friends + family – you could just see the awe and enjoyment on everyone’s faces as they soaked in the beautiful moments unfolding. With a forecast of pure rain in the forecast, we were all watching the skies and we literally couldn’t believe it – a beautifully sunny early summer day unfolded with blue skies! The sound of the string quartet’s beautiful music echoing in the old stone chapel is a sound that will stay with me for years to come, setting the tone for the magic that was their ceremony.
