Jess + Fer’s wedding at Villa Aura del Lago in Lake Como was absolutely stunning! Lake Como, Italy is a magical, charming area of the country. With beautiful blue waters, historic villas dotting the lake shores and small Italian towns, it makes for a stunning destination wedding location. Jess + Fer’s international crew of family + friends gathered from the Netherlands through to California to celebrate with good food, wine and toasts in a stunning locale. We love capturing weddings all over the world, but there is truly something special about Italy. Jess + her girls got ready inside the stunning Villa Aura Del Lago first together. Fer, a talented yacht designer himself, had to have a boat as part of the day! He hired a gorgeous classic Italian boat for a spin around Lake Como – a must for an Italian wedding! After jetting around the lake, they gathered for an intimate ceremony full of laughter lakefront next to Villa Aura del Lago. After a cake cutting, champagne toast and cocktail hour during sunset, everyone gathered at one long family-style table for dinner, decked out with lush olive branch greens and delicious wine.
