Swept away to the French Riviera, whisked off after a seaside ceremony by wooden cigarette boat….sounds perfect, doesn’t it? Well, for us Americans – jetting off to the French Riviera wasn’t happening in 2020, so we brought the inspiration right here at home to Newport, Rhode Island! I lovingly think of Newport as America’s Riviera (this should catch on!!) with all its stunning French mansions, seaside culture, cliffside walks and overlooks, and inspiring food scene. The Glen Manor House is a beautiful Newport wedding venue with all the historic charm we love about French venues – stately columns, waterfront views, historic frescos and patios galore….and it was the perfect backdrop for this beautiful day! Keri of Always Yours Events brought this vision to life so beautifully, with Monique Lhuillier’s Tuileries gown setting the perfect style for the day. Wild Dahlia’s florals were impeccable – good enough to eat! – and the entire vendor team brought their A game!
